Poetree Barbados Artists Shine at NIFCA Theatre Arts Finals

Their remarkable performances earned them well-deserved recognition, highlighting the depth of Barbadian talent in the literary and performing arts.

  • Malachi Hope earned a Silver Medal for their emotionally resonant poem There Was a Boy, which showcased their storytelling prowess.
  • Ashley Serieux was awarded a Bronze Medal for her powerful poem Villains.
  • Negus Knots received a Bronze Medal for their vivid and impactful piece Cane Fields.

The celebrations continued as both StonedwithCupid and Malachi Hope performed at the prestigious NIFCA Gala on Sunday, November 17th. In front of a packed audience, they delivered electrifying performances that left a lasting impact and celebrated the richness of Barbados’ cultural heritage.

Ashley Serieux got a Bronze Medal for her poem Villian.
