Break-in at St. Lucia House of Parliament Sparks Investigation

St. Lucia: St. Lucia’s House of Parliament has become the latest target of criminal activity, with reports of a recent break-in. According to local police, an ancillary staff member discovered the premises disturbed and promptly alerted authorities. Investigators are currently examining the scene to determine the method of entry and to identify any missing items. Preliminary reports suggest that electronic equipment may have been stolen.

This incident comes amidst growing public concern over the rising crime rate in St. Lucia. In response to these concerns, the police have pledged to intensify their efforts to combat criminal activity.

Inspector Lucius Moll, Commander of the Special Services Unit, has emphasized that the police will be vigilant in their pursuit of criminals. “There are persons who will evade the presence of the police,” he stated, “but we will be at all ends on the highways and byways, in the back roads of St. Lucia as well.”

Moll vowed that the Special Services Unit will be relentless in their efforts to apprehend individuals involved in criminal activities, particularly those planning burglaries or other illegal acts.
