Students at the Grantley Adams Memorial School will continue to learn remotely for another week as authorities investigate environmental concerns at the Blackman St. Joseph Institution.
The school was initially closed earlier in the term to allow for a thorough investigation into potential hazards on the Blackman St. Joseph Institution campus. Following the discovery of traces of a dangerous chemical, teachers expressed concerns about returning to the school.
In light of these developments, the Ministry of Education has advised that classes at the Grantley Adams Memorial School will remain online. Efforts are underway to identify at least two suitable buildings to accommodate the school’s operations.
Further updates on the situation will be provided in due course.
