Will Bajans support jungle justice?

A video recently surfaced on social media depicting a purported thief who had been bound to a utility pole and subjected to mistreatment by an individual with a distinct foreign accent.
I’ve patiently awaited any sign of condemnation for this form of vigilante justice and abuse.
So far, the silence on this matter is deafening

Evidently, from his accent, the individual inflicting harm was a foreign national, though my primary concern lies not in his origin, but in the excessive physical abuse inflicted upon the alleged wrongdoer, and the fact that he felt comfortable in bringing such customs from his country and blatantly displaying them in Barbados.

Considering the public display of cruelty, one can only imagine what transpired prior to the recording.

Nevertheless, a pressing question arises: will law enforcement take action against the unlawful abuse documented and shared on social media? Furthermore, since there was much jeering at the plight of the alleged offender, I’m curious whether the people of Barbados will continue to condone such practices.
