10erson still delivering hits during his tenure.

Juran 10erson Parris is a Barbadian recording artiste who has been entertaining Barbadian audiences for the past 13 years. He recently released his debut 10 track album Champain which has the following tracks: Owe To Myself, Henry Hill, Too Casual Ft Daniel Medford, Ordained ft Rochè and Teff Hinkson, Trans-Canada Interlude, Sex in the City, Campaign, 5:27AM, Re: Independent and Departure Guilt which are available on all major streaming platforms internationally.

Speaking about his release, 10erson said he was pleased to finally release his album as it was something he wanted to do for some time.

“It was always a goal of mine to release a cohesive body of work and I thought it was time to check it off the list. This 10-track collection of songs is a testament to my journey relocating to Canada to grow my musical opportunities and the hurdles I have encountered along the way. The public’s reception to the album has been surreal, seeing how many persons support my new sound and the vulnerability that I have displayed on this project is something that words cannot even begin to explain. It was a more sentimental for me as I was the executive producer of the album,” he said.

10erson who is known in the dancehall circuits for popular songs such as Its My Life, Get Dark Freestyle , Hard Bajan and Where I am From is managed by Avenue Earth.

“Collaborating with Avenue Earth has been nothing short of ordained. My management assembled a team of individuals with specific strengths, allowing them to do what they do best. This inadvertently allows me to focus on my art,” he said.
The former student of Christ Church Foundation School and The Samuel Jackman Prescod Polytechnic now renamed The Samuel Jackman Prescod Institute of Technology said he decided to become an artiste after being was inspired by reggae artiste SuperstarIzzy when he performed at his alma matter. Since then, he has sought to spread positivity in his music.
“The goal for me back then and even now is that I really want to create music that is true. Every day we wake up, we do not feel the same feelings, and that is just being human, So I think it is more a domino effect; if I am true to what I create then that is a positive for me. After all, the energy you put out is what shall return as positivity starts with accepting what is true,” he said.

10erson is now living and residing in Canada and is now using his unique Bajan style over modern musical tones to share his story with the world.

“I have been recording music for the past decade, but the journey has been one to remember.
I have come from sitting outside radio stations waiting to give DJ’s my music when they
came off their shift to being able to walk into any radio station in Barbados. After feeling like

I had exhausted my space, I relocated to Canada to literally be a nobody and start over in the hopes of expanding my audience. Today, Canada now listens to my music just as much as Barbados, so I am very humbled and blessed with that,” he said.
